Light and dark, a mirror of what Malachite can help us to learn.

Malachite blends these two shades of light and dark green, to form beautiful patterns. From this it teaches us to blend the light and dark in our lives. Through the green ray of the heart chakra, but influencing the solar plexus chakra, centre of emotion, judgement and will. Judgement is to make a decision that something is either right or wrong, to do this we take ‘sides’ and think in a polarised way. Our judgments can be based on many things, but mainly on our personal belief systems.

What malachite teaches us is the right use of will, judgement or should I say ‘non-judgement’. Will and power are influenced by two things, the will of the ego, and Divine will, hence the polarity, right /wrong; light/dark Malachite is an evolving crystal, and although revered by the ancient civilisations, is very much a crystal of the future, coming to teach us balance and the right use of will; not by abuse of power or manipulation, but by releasing the situation to divine will, having no attachment to the outcome or what form the creation will manifest in, but by the will to create and manifest that which we need for our personal growth.

The dark and light banding in Malachite reminds us of this balance, and the right use of WILL. Acknowledging the dark bands in our life, recognising them as our teachers, shadows cast by a powerful light shining on our path.
