Meaning quite literally “the science of the stars” astrology is one of the most fascinating beliefs which not only gives us great insight into ourselves but lets us explore our place within the world. Astrologists are those who are trained and most of the time, gifted in a way to be able to study the positions of the celestial bodies which show how they can have a great effect on the course of earthly occurrences.
Even though astrology is considered to be the science of the stars, it is in fact, both a science and a belief that the ways the stars are aligned gives meaning to our lives in some way, whether it is through love, relationships, good fortune, etc. Astrologists study and practice astrology which has been documented thousands of years ago, but still plays such a huge role in our lives today. Astrologists set out to seek the meaning of the influence of the planets, stars and other celestial bodies. It gives a picture of the influences that are working together at that particular moment and provides a clear look at what a person who was born then might be facing. Astrologists interpret the meaning of the chart and then give a clearer picture in relation to that person.

So that brings us back to the question of whether astrology really is scientific. The answer is yes, it is, but it also is an art that the astrologist learns with experience and knowledge. Not everyone has the gift to be an astrologist, but many people can learn the basic facts by taking an astrologist course workshop or working one-on-one with a trained astrologist. The knowledge is rooted in science, as science is an understanding of human behavior. This can be seen through biology, psychology and more.
Astrologists calculate the observations as well as the projections of the celestial bodies they see. They view the symbolic patterns as a form of art that when put together can reveal so much about a person in all aspects of their life; politically, emotionally, physically and more. This art combined with scientific facts can literally map out the human consciousness in ways that no one can predict.
