Bach Remedies
Developed in the 1930’s by Dr. Edward Bach, the Bach remedies are a system in which he used different plants to help deal with a basic human emotion.
For example, when he felt fear he would use the plant that corresponded with that. Dr. Bach felt strongly that when certain energies were blocked in and around our bodies, it would cause an unharmonious energy flow through our body that would lead to negative feelings and emotions.
Bach Remedies consists of 38 different types of remedies that are sold in liquid form. By mixing together the different liquid remedies you can use them to rectify a particular emotional situation you may be going through. It has been proven time and time again that healing negative emotions will heal other issues physically and mentally. When you have a healthy emotional life your body will react to that and be more physically healthy alleviating any illness or ailment.
The Bach remedies were contrived due to Dr. Bach’s psychic relation to the various plants he uses. More specifically they are dilutions of flower and plant materials. He would place his hand over each type of plant and spiritually allow the plant to take hold of him and show him what emotion he felt. Using different times of the day, water and even brandy to produce a certain emotion along with the plants he then built a complete remedy set that would work with a host of emotions with everything ranging from fear to jealousy.
Each remedy he created can be used by itself or with another remedy to give specific qualities that can be taken orally in the liquid form by humans, pets and other domestic animals. Choosing which one will suit you best is usually the most difficult part of this very simple process. However, there are many trained Bach flower practitioners that can counsel you on which is best made for your emotions or you could take a Bach remedies course workshop to learn the Bach remedy process on your own. This is recommended if you plan on using them as your primary source of holistic therapy.
