Color Therapist

It has long been known that the colors in our world make a huge difference to how we feel emotionally and physically.  Colors in general provoke emotions and influence us in ways we can never even imagine.  That is why it is so important to consult a color therapist if there is something going on in your life that is not positive or if you are having emotional issues that you can’t figure out how to deal with.  This is because color affects us in so many ways and by using positive colors you can bring more positive energy into your life both personally and professionally.

From our moods to our energy levels, a color therapist can work to help focus on the physiological effects that colors have on us so that we can learn how to achieve great physical and mental health by just changing the colors that we see on a daily basis.  A trained color therapist can help us to work on balancing our emotional lives as well as healing our stress, tension and physical symptoms due to anxiety, fear and more.

By using a person’s overall sensitivity to a particular color, a color therapist can help to balance the flow of the energy that surges through the body.  It can be used to enhance the spiritual positive energies or calm the negative ones.  When our bodies become balanced with color therapy only then can a person feel an overall wellness in the mind and body.  This is due in large part to the wavelengths that colors produce.  The exposure to certain colors has a direct effect on both the pineal and pituitary glands which affects our overall hormonal production.  This leads to how we feel emotionally.  Based in both science and spiritual healing, color therapy can help promote positive general health and be used to treat a variety of conditions that leads to negative health and wellness.

The Meaning of Colors that Color Therapists Use

Color therapists work with almost every color in the universe but there are seven specific colors that are used directly in energy healing and color therapy.  They include violet, indigo, blue, green, pink, yellow and orange.  Each offers something different to the chakras, or energy centers, in our body.  For instance, violet is associated with our spirituality, commitment and tolerance.  Surrounding yourself with violet will bring spiritual peace and help to create a serene environment.  It is good for kidney problems, tumors and can even work to suppress the appetite.  The color blue can work with the thyroid and parathyroid glands as it is associated with the fifth chakra located at the throat area.  It inspires creativity, relaxation and trust.  It also has a very relaxing effect on the body which can lower blood pressure, slow heart rate and help with aggressive tendencies.  From raising energy levels to helping with impotency, color therapists teach you how to add certain colors to your life in order to remove any negative associations and instead bring positive associations which can stimulate great spiritual healing.
